International Polar Week is an awareness and education campaign sponsored by The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists, (APECS).
The polar regions support a rich array of life, both in the Arctic and Antarctic. Scientists from all over the world are working together to increase our knowledge of the cryosphere and its inhabitants in a spirit of international cooperation.
Sponsor APECS's Education and Outreach Committee uses this opportunity to plan & develop polar science related activities alongside teachers, educators and those interested in polar education each year.
